  1. These are so cute! I especially love the superhero one… they say such funny things! Lots of wisdom here. Thanks for sharing at the Manic Mondays blog hop!

  2. So cute! I once had my son ask me if they had boats when I was little… I think he was 8 or 9 at the time and I responded “you mean like the Mayflower?! Yes, I am younger than the Mayflower.”

    • Haha!! Mommy is younger than the Mayflower. Love it! We’ll have to include this one next time. Thanks for sharing, Mother of 3. 🙂

  3. We’re squarely stuck in the last one! Our 3-year-old has been getting up in the night at watching movies. Then, when he finally returns to bed, he wakes me and the baby up which is an issue. Short of locking him in a room alone for the night, I’m at a loss lately.

There are other really great tips here too, nice reminders that children really are just that – children, and their behavior and ‘attitudes’ are a reflection of that fact alone and nothing else. 🙂

    • My daughter was up to similar tricks around three. They are so SNEAKY at that age, aren’t they? I had to tweak her bedtime schedule (she wasn’t tired enough, and, therefore, was getting back up) and use consequences and rewards for staying in bed. It took a while, but we figured it out. I think she responded most to a combo of stickers, more outside play, and “getting the wiggles out” before bed. I just realized four years later we still use this routine, lol. -Elle C.
