alacrity: [uh-lak-ri-tee] (n) cheerful readiness, willingness, or promptness

in a sentence: When your boss has the alacrity of a new hire, arriving early daily with a smile and pastries for everyone, it sets a lively tone for the whole office.


procrastination: (n) the action of delaying or postponing something

in a sentence: The twins never want to go to bed . . . ever; so, they have mastered the art of bedtime procrastination, driving their parents crazy with fresh, clever tactics night after night.
